Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and performance metrics to generate reports and recommend process enhancements.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control techniques, best practices, and company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure consistency in the quality of incoming materials.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformities and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to continuously improve QA processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., Lean, TQM, SPC).
- Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations is an advantage.
