Responsibility
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate and expand the Japanese market, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create localized marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content tailored to Japanese audiences.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing actionable insights to guide business decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Manage sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Translate and localize product documentation, presentations, and promotional materials from English to Japanese.
- Stay updated on cultural nuances and business etiquette in Japan to ensure all interactions align with local expectations.
Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken); business-level English is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably with a focus on the Japanese market.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia or already based in the region.
