Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets in the palm oil segment.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence in Bali and beyond, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including distributors, manufacturers, and exporters in the palm oil supply chain.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive positioning and profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to optimize product distribution, promotions, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and KPIs to senior management with data-driven insights.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with high-value clients while ensuring alignment with company policies and margins.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, sustainability standards, and certification requirements (e.g., RSPO) to advise clients accurately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, or related fields. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the palm oil, edible oils, or agricultural commodities sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with experience managing a sales team of 5+ members.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English and Indonesian.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, pricing strategies, and client relationship management in the palm oil industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia as required.
