Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in the mining sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders, including mining companies and industry partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and pricing models.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals while maintaining compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the mining, industrial, or B2B sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep understanding of the mining industry’s supply chain, regulations, and market trends.
