Responsibility
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue and occupancy rates.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential client segments.
- Support the sales team in negotiating contracts with corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Promote hotel facilities, packages, and services through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and revenue in CRM systems.
- Participate in networking events, trade shows, and familiarization trips to expand industry connections.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Passion for sales, customer service, and the hospitality industry.
- Basic understanding of sales principles, negotiation, and revenue management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a team, adapt to fast-changing environments, and meet deadlines.
- Previous internship or part-time experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (Badung region) for the duration of the internship.
