Join PERSOL as a Sales Manager in Freight Forwarding (Chemical Industry) and lead the charge in expanding our logistics solutions across Bali’s dynamic markets. Your expertise will shape our market presence in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung, ensuring seamless, compliant, and cost-effective transportation solutions for our global clients.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand PERSOL’s freight forwarding services in the chemical industry across Bali.
- Identify, engage, and retain key accounts through proactive relationship management and tailored logistics solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, carriers, and partners to optimize profitability and service quality.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in chemical logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, compliance, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, particularly for hazardous or chemical cargo.
- Represent PERSOL at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding, logistics, or chemical supply chains.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing high-value client portfolios.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical logistics regulations, including IMDG, IATA, and local/ international compliance standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within Bali and occasionally internationally for client meetings or industry events.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
