Join Coherent as a Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager and lead the transformation of our supply chain and inventory management processes. Responsibility
- Develop and implement standardized SIOP planning processes to enhance operational efficiency and alignment across departments.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review and adjust supply chain strategies based on market trends and business needs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement in inventory management and operational workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all planning and operational activities.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on SIOP best practices and tools.
- Generate reports and presentations for senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or operations planning, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in SIOP processes and tools, with a strong understanding of demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
