Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the Bali region, focusing on shipping, freight, and logistics solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients, including importers, exporters, and logistics partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and marketing) to deliver tailored logistics solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in global trade.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to prospective and existing clients.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, and provide regular reports to management with actionable insights.
- Represent PIL at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with the ability to handle objections effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
