Responsibility
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors across East Java.
- Conduct professional presentations, product demonstrations, and technical pitches for high-precision weighing and inspection systems (Radwag, Baykon, Wipotec).
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams.
- Consult with clients to understand their unique production challenges and recommend tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare accurate sales quotations, negotiate contract terms, and close sales deals to consistently achieve individual and team revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with the after-sales and technical support teams to ensure seamless installation and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports, competitor analyses, and sales forecasts to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical) or a related technical/science discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales Representative, preferably dealing with industrial machinery, laboratory equipment, or automation systems.
- Strong familiarity with the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and their strict compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven with a proven track record of successful sales performance.
- Possess a valid driver's license (SIM A / SIM C) and are willing to travel extensively for client visits within Surabaya and the broader East Java region.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is highly preferred.
