Responsibility

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Bali maritime and shipping sectors.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and engineers.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals and price quotations tailored to specific maritime project requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to stay updated on the latest marine technologies and product specifications.
  • Maintain and manage a robust CRM pipeline of active leads and recurring accounts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the marine industry to adjust sales strategies.
  • Attend industry maritime exhibitions and networking events to represent Jarum Mas Indonesia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2-3 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the marine or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of maritime equipment, vessel systems, or offshore technology.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to handle international documentation and clients.
  • Self-motivated with a strong target-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the region for client visits and project site inspections.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
