Responsibility
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value of engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and feasibility studies.
- Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting, training, and ensuring customer satisfaction with delivered solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and repeat business.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the company’s products and services.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in technical sales, sales engineering, or a similar role, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, product specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, close deals, and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical drawing tools (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a strong advantage.
