As a Sales Engineer, you will act as the bridge between our cutting-edge packaging technologies and clients’ operational needs. Responsibility
- Conduct technical consultations with clients in Bali to assess their packaging, coding, and marking requirements.
- Develop and present customized packaging solutions, including machinery, materials, and automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, and logistics) to ensure client specifications are met.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, cost estimates, and ROI analyses to prospective clients.
- Provide post-sales support, including training, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for installed systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the packaging sector.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing, FMCG, and pharmaceutical industries.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or technical roles within the packaging, printing, or coding/marking industry.
- Strong understanding of packaging machinery, materials (e.g., flexible films, cartons), and coding technologies (inkjet, laser, thermal transfer).
- Proven track record of B2B sales, client acquisition, and technical problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Indonesian.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions for client meetings.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a target-oriented environment.
