Note: This position is open for candidates willing to relocate to Bali or currently residing in the specified locations.
Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with eyewear selection, lens recommendations, and vision care consultations.
- Operate independently across multiple Optik Melawai stores in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung) to meet sales targets and KPIs.
- Perform basic optical measurements (e.g., pupillary distance, frame adjustments) and verify prescription accuracy.
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame materials to enhance their purchasing decisions.
- Manage inventory, restock merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
- Process sales transactions, handle cash registers, and maintain accurate records of daily sales activities.
- Collaborate with the regional team to implement promotions, marketing campaigns, and store events.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in optometry or optical sales is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or optical industry (1+ years preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to engage customers professionally.
- Basic knowledge of optical products, lens types, and frame materials (training will be provided).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to travel between stores in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung).
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and sales reporting is an advantage.
