As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our brand, building lasting relationships with automotive businesses, workshops, and retail partners. You will play a pivotal role in driving market share while helping our clients optimize their operations with our world-class German-engineered products. Responsibility
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Liqui Moly's market presence in the Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, and Tawau regions.
- Identify and onboard new business partners, workshops, and retail outlets through proactive prospecting.
- Conduct regular product demonstrations and technical training for clients to ensure deep understanding of our value proposition.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights to the management team.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in organizing promotional events and marketing activities to drive brand awareness in the region.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales or the automotive industry (lubricants/parts experience is a strong advantage).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in the field.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak local dialects is a significant plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, and Tawau as required.
