As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our retail operations, engaging with customers, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Based in the heart of Bali’s most sought-after locations—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibility
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are replenished to meet demand.
- Process transactions efficiently using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, removing expired or damaged items from display.
- Set up and maintain visually appealing product displays to attract customers.
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate to management when necessary.
- Participate in promotional activities, including in-store tastings, discounts, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service (fresh produce industry is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer literacy.
- Passion for fresh produce, health, and wellness (knowledge of tropical fruits is advantageous).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong asset.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
