Responsibility
- Identify and engage potential merchant partners in Bali’s tourism and hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new merchants and expand market reach.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and merchant needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers through effective communication and negotiation.
- Present tailored business proposals and solutions to prospective merchants, highlighting value propositions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new merchant partners.
- Track and report sales performance metrics, including acquisition targets, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Stay updated on company products, services, and promotions to effectively address merchant inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the tourism, hospitality, or fintech sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and acquiring new clients.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s tourism market and existing merchant networks is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
