In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our merchant network by acquiring new businesses and promoting our Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solutions.

Responsibility

  • Identify and acquire new merchants in Rote Ndao to expand BukuWarung’s EDC network.
  • Conduct field visits to engage with potential merchants and demonstrate the benefits of BukuWarung’s solutions.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for EDC machine acquisitions and activations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Provide training and support to merchants on using BukuWarung’s EDC and digital payment solutions.
  • Collect market feedback and insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to align on goals and share best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and merchant interactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in fintech or banking.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with EDC machines, digital payments, or financial technology is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Rote Ndao and surrounding areas.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using mobile apps and basic CRM tools for sales tracking.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
