Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Train and educate employees on safety protocols, proper use of PPE, and hazard recognition.
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain safety equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Prepare and submit detailed safety reports, including findings, recommendations, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to continuously improve safety programs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively train and influence teams.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali.
