Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety and security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests, employees, and property assets.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of security personnel, fostering a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and exceptional service.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international safety and security regulations, as well as company standards.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and government agencies to maintain strong community relations and rapid response capabilities.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and resolution, including the preparation of detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functional.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for all staff members to enhance their ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPP, CSP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety and security management, preferably within the hospitality or luxury service industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing security teams.
- In-depth knowledge of safety and security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong understanding of local and international safety regulations, including OSHA, fire safety codes, and data protection laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in security management software, CCTV systems, and incident reporting tools.
- Fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly advantageous.
