As a Safety Officer, you will enforce comprehensive safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and lead emergency preparedness initiatives to create a secure environment for all. Your expertise will directly contribute to the resort’s reputation for excellence and guest satisfaction.

Responsibility
- Enforce and monitor compliance with all local, national, and resort-specific safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and adventure park attractions to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop, implement, and update emergency response plans, including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Train staff on safety procedures, hazard recognition, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with management to ensure safety policies align with operational goals and industry best practices.
- Monitor environmental conditions (e.g., weather, terrain) and adjust safety measures as needed for outdoor activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or adventure parks.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify hazards and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train staff and interact with guests professionally.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure in high-stakes situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software. Familiarity with incident reporting tools is advantageous.
- Physical fitness to conduct inspections and respond to emergencies in an outdoor, active environment.
