Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards across all club facilities.
- Develop and implement efficient staff scheduling, ensuring optimal coverage while managing labor costs.
- Oversee procurement of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and amenities, negotiating with vendors to secure cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, public spaces, and staff accommodations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage departmental budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports for senior management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance) to address guest requests, resolve issues, and enhance overall service delivery.
- Implement sustainable practices and innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in housekeeping or property management, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or private clubs.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, including inventory management, chemical safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
