Join our team as a Safety Officer specializing in mining and construction environments. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety awareness. Based in Badung, Bali, you will work closely with site managers, engineers, and labor teams to mitigate risks and promote best practices in occupational safety.

Responsibility
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits in mining and construction sites to identify hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Train employees on safety protocols, PPE usage, and hazard recognition.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations (e.g., K3 standards).
- Monitor environmental conditions and recommend corrective actions to minimize risks.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in safety roles within mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Certification in occupational safety (e.g., AK3 Umum, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian K3 regulations and international safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work in remote or challenging environments.
- Proficient in risk assessment tools and safety management software.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
