Seven Dragons Food Galore is looking for a proactive and highly experienced Safety Officer 3 (SO3) to lead our Occupational Health and Safety initiatives at our facility in Taytay, Rizal. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs tailored to food manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure strict compliance with RA 11058 and DOLE standards.
- Lead accident and incident investigations, determining root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate mandatory safety training, orientations, and toolbox meetings for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Manage the documentation and timely submission of all required safety reports to the Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the selection, distribution, and proper maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all departments.
- Coordinate with the Health and Safety Committee to promote a proactive safety culture and lead emergency response drills.
Qualifications
- Must be a DOLE-certified Safety Officer 3 (SO3) with a valid certificate of accreditation.
- Completed the 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training plus specialized OSH training (minimum 48 hours).
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards of the Philippines and local labor laws.
- Strong expertise in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRAC).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tagalog to effectively lead training sessions and coordinate with government agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
