Responsibility
- Conduct daily inspections of construction sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international health and safety regulations (K3 standards).
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Provide safety training and inductions for new and existing employees.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into project planning and execution.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian K3 regulations and international safety standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and influence teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
