Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety and health policies in compliance with Indonesian regulations (e.g., K3) and international standards (e.g., OSHA).
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure awareness of best practices.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, and incident reports for compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into project planning and execution.
- Ensure all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety gear are available, properly used, and maintained.
- Stay updated on emerging safety trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian OHS regulations (K3) and international safety standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence safety culture across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
- Familiarity with construction site operations, equipment, and materials.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
