Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety and health policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs and workshops for employees to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.
- Collaborate with management to ensure all facilities meet safety standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Coordinate with external safety agencies and authorities for certifications and compliance checks.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across all departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and health role, preferably in retail or large-scale facilities.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
