Responsibility
- Oversee and enforce safety protocols across construction sites in Bali, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety plans into project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and maintain safety documentation, including permits, certifications, and incident logs.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through workshops, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.
- Liaise with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders on safety-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in large-scale projects.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations and international standards (ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proven ability to conduct safety training and incident investigations.
- Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel across Bali’s construction sites as needed.
