Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures for construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international safety regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and Indonesian HSE standards.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, subcontractors, and visitors to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate and document near-misses, incidents, and accidents, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety best practices into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory and internal review.
- Provide emergency response leadership and first-aid support when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field; certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and construction safety protocols.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence safety behavior at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in conducting safety audits, writing reports, and using HSE software/tools.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk environments with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
