Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and safety policies in alignment with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs and workshops for employees, contractors, and management.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, compiling detailed reports and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant safety standards through audits and documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Promote a safety-first culture through awareness campaigns and proactive engagement with all staff levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international safety regulations (e.g., K3, ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to conduct training, audits, and incident investigations independently.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.
