Responsibility
- Lead and manage the compliance framework for the RTO, ensuring adherence to Australian regulatory standards and requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation to support audit readiness.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous compliance.
- Collaborate with the Director and senior management to provide strategic guidance on compliance matters and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure training programs and assessments meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders as required.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance requirements, best practices, and regulatory updates.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in compliance management, preferably within an RTO or educational institution.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian regulatory standards for RTOs, including ASQA requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
