Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of all medical center areas, including patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, and administrative offices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare hygiene standards and infection control protocols.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and disinfectant sprayers.
- Respond promptly to spill cleanups and emergency sanitation needs.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify areas requiring attention and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures, including biohazard waste, in accordance with medical regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
