Responsibility
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to meet hotel and industry hygiene standards.
- Replace and replenish linens, towels, and amenities (e.g., toiletries, tea/coffee supplies) as needed.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or malfunctions promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and use approved chemicals safely and effectively.
- Respond to guest requests for additional services (e.g., extra pillows, housekeeping) in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or similar role in a hotel or resort (preferably 4-5 star).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 15 kg, and stand for extended periods.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a guest-first mindset.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
