Responsibility
- Collect, clean, and analyze road transport data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present key performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies for route optimization and fleet management.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of transport operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the financial impact of proposed logistics improvements.
- Utilize predictive modeling and forecasting techniques to anticipate demand and optimize resource allocation.
- Recommend and assist in the adoption of new technologies or tools to enhance data collection and analysis processes.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis, logistics, or transport management, preferably in the manufacturing or transport sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical insights to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
