Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems, including cycle counting and ABC analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and storage of goods.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, cost reduction, and inventory optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles, JIT (Just-in-Time), or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
