Responsibility
- Assist in conducting inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
- Support stock audits by verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, and documenting findings.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to highlight inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Maintain organized records of audit trails, adjustments, and resolutions for compliance and reference.
- Utilize Excel to compile, sort, and interpret large datasets for risk assessment purposes.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to minimize stock discrepancies.
- Participate in weekly meetings to present findings and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, and basic formulas).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management or retail operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
