Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for HMO and Life Insurance products to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes in the insurance and financial services sectors, ensuring timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial, operational, and reputational risks for clients and the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and legal departments, to align risk management practices with business objectives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting risk exposure, compliance gaps, and recommended actions.
  • Assist in the design and execution of compliance audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal controls.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging risks and trends in the insurance industry to proactively address potential challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related role within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of HMO and Life Insurance regulations, including local and international compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment tools, data analysis, and reporting software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or specialized risk management platforms).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or similar are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
