Responsibility
- Set up and dismantle rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide clear and accurate signals to crane operators during lifting operations.
- Perform basic metalwork tasks as required.
- Inspect rigging gear and equipment for wear and tear before and after use.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Rigger & Signalman or in a similar role.
- Certification in rigging and signaling is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of metalwork and fabrication.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
