Responsibility
- Conduct tax audits and investigations to ensure compliance with national and local tax laws.
- Assess and verify tax returns, financial records, and business transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and address tax evasion, underreporting, or fraudulent activities through data analysis and field inspections.
- Provide guidance and support to taxpayers on tax obligations, filing procedures, and payment options.
- Collaborate with local government units, law enforcement, and other agencies to enforce tax regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, tax assessments, and enforcement actions.
- Participate in community outreach programs to educate businesses and individuals on tax compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, policies, and procedural changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax compliance, auditing, accounting, or financial analysis (public or private sector).
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and enforcement procedures (experience with Indonesian tax systems is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tax software/tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with taxpayers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
