Responsibility

  • Conduct tax audits and investigations to ensure compliance with national and local tax laws.
  • Assess and verify tax returns, financial records, and business transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and address tax evasion, underreporting, or fraudulent activities through data analysis and field inspections.
  • Provide guidance and support to taxpayers on tax obligations, filing procedures, and payment options.
  • Collaborate with local government units, law enforcement, and other agencies to enforce tax regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, tax assessments, and enforcement actions.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to educate businesses and individuals on tax compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, policies, and procedural changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax compliance, auditing, accounting, or financial analysis (public or private sector).
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and enforcement procedures (experience with Indonesian tax systems is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
