Responsibility
- Enforce housing and homesite regulations in compliance with national and local laws.
- Conduct inspections and audits of residential developments to ensure adherence to standards.
- Review and approve housing permits, licenses, and development plans.
- Collaborate with local government units and stakeholders to implement housing policies.
- Investigate complaints and violations related to housing and land use.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for regulatory improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to communities on housing compliance matters.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of housing regulations on urban development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housing regulation, urban development, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of housing laws, land use policies, and urban planning principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies, developers, and community groups.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance and enforcement procedures.
- Experience in conducting inspections and preparing detailed reports.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or Filipino is a plus.
