Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive revenue analysis, including Revenue Assurance and Reconciliation (RAR) and operational revenue tracking, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of revenue fluctuations through detailed research and data analysis, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to optimize revenue processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive financial performance.
- Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting key revenue metrics and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate revenue recognition policies to ensure alignment with accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and company guidelines.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by validating revenue data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain revenue models and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial analysis.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continuously improve revenue analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue analysis, financial reporting, or a related role, preferably in a multinational or technology-driven company.
- Strong proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into strategic insights.
- Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles (e.g., ASC 606) and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying and resolving revenue-related issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
