Responsibility

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for retail staff, including onboarding, product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to identify skill gaps and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Create engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules, aligned with company standards and retail trends.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises to enhance employee confidence and competence.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements.
  • Collaborate with retail managers to ensure training initiatives support business goals, such as sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and retail technologies to continuously refine training content.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Relevant certifications in training or retail management are a plus.
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Retail Trainer, Training Coordinator, or similar role in the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales processes, and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in designing training materials and using multimedia tools (e.g., PowerPoint, LMS platforms).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others, with a results-driven approach to training.
