Phoon Huat Pte. Ltd., Singapore's leading retailer of baking ingredients, tools, and gourmet food products, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our retail team at our Bencoolen outlet. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing daily store operations, mentoring retail associates, and ensuring our customers enjoy an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily retail store operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Lead, motivate, and train a team of retail associates to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage stock levels, perform regular inventory audits, and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure high standards of store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product display organization.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve escalations professionally.
- Manage POS cash registers, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliations.
- Collaborate with store management to implement promotions and drive monthly sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail, food & beverage, or supermarket environments.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Able to work 5 days a week on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Familiarity with retail POS systems and basic inventory management software.
- A passion or interest in baking, pastry making, or cooking is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading and arranging stock items.
