Responsibility
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive foot traffic, boost sales, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing team.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure products are displayed attractively and accessibly.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalated issues professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain store visual merchandising standards to align with brand guidelines and seasonal promotions.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a supervisory or managerial role within retail, preferably in sports or apparel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, POS systems, and sales reporting.
- Customer-focused mindset with a track record of resolving issues and building loyalty.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Familiarity with sports products and industry trends is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Management, or related field is advantageous.
