Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with company policies, and high standards of customer service.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of store assistants to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain teams, and ensure product availability meets demand.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and drive sales.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security protocols in the store.
- Collaborate with management on promotional campaigns, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, staff, and management.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management, sales tracking, and retail KPIs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Retail Management, or related fields is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle pressure and make decisions in fast-paced settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail software is advantageous.
