Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including fuel purchases, convenience store items, and other services.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Operate cash registers, POS systems, and other equipment, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, reconciling discrepancies and reporting any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, including restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are attractive.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting low supplies to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company policies, including handling cash and sensitive information with integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special promotions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a similar customer-facing role (preferably in a petrol station or fast-paced environment).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service are advantageous.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., stocking shelves).
