Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance product presentation and drive sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local retail laws.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and provide insights to store management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and in-store events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role within a department store or supermarket.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Office, POS systems).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in retail environments is an advantage.
