Responsibility
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of retail staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with company standards, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Drive sales and profitability through strategic merchandising, inventory management, and promotional activities, with a focus on the Fresh department.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve store targets, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational KPIs.
- Manage customer relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Monitor and control expenses, including labor costs, utilities, and inventory, to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and HR, to align store operations with broader company goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications
- 9–10 years of retail experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in supermarkets or hypermarkets.
- Proven expertise in the Fresh department, including knowledge of perishable goods, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, KPIs, and financial reports to drive decision-making.
- Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term customer loyalty.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
