Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and minimize shrinkage through effective loss prevention strategies.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local labor laws.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on promotions, pricing, and product placement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local community stakeholders.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role in the retail industry, preferably in a supermarket or large-format store.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, sales strategies, and customer service best practices.
- Proficiency in using retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
