Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting our optical stores, assisting with frame selection, lens options, and general inquiries.
- Maintain store presentation standards, including merchandising displays, cleanliness, and product organization.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/card payments.
- Educate customers on eye care, lens technologies, and the benefits of different frame materials.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock checks, restocking, and reporting low inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and promote special offers or promotions.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products, technologies, and sales techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail or optics is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of optical products or a willingness to learn about eyewear and eye care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as retail schedules demand.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in handling inventory and sales transactions.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and POS systems.
