Responsibility
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and unpacking new stock and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Promote sales and special offers to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the store operates efficiently during peak hours.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
